Weeelll, that's me, in my old room when I was living in Concepcion, I am looking the other way, thus trying to avoid looking as if posing artificially, attaining the exact contrary...
At my right you can see one of the two magnetostatic speakers I constructed, same design (totally by coincidence), sort of, as the Apogee loudspeakers that cost more than 2000 dollars each, the cheap models...

I personally invested, 130 dollars.... the result is astonishing, perfect hi-fi, beat the hell out of the 600 dollar speakers hanging from the roof in the background and they are very good speakers, DALI 15. Though then again the more complex the music the worse the results. I would say that the weak magnets I used did not help the speakers get a good control of the bass therefore they are best for classical, acoustical or just general soft music, whereas the DALI were more for music in general.

You can see the Rega Planar 3 (modified the cableing and included a Dynavector 17D2)
Underneath on top of the table a NAD 3300 without the lid, to warm off while playing the LaFolia...
Next just under the table a Denon CD-player DCD1420, then a DRM 24HX Cassette deck a crummy AKAI equalizer I used for tape to tape dubbing for friends and finally a NAD 3155 Cassette Deck. Hanging on the side with it's own special amp are a pair of STAX Lambda Signature Earspeakers, talk about heavenly headphones... All the cabling is Hitachi OFC cable.
