The crossover design

The crossover will cut at 500 hz, this will help the distribution of the sound in the woofer. A coil with 0.95 mH cuts off the bass over 500 hz, 6dB per octave. A capacitor at 105 microF cuts off the highs on the low side 6 dB per octave. Here there is space to check out the exotic and more expensive types to see if this makes any difference, I was not able to find anything other than the normal grade stuff (i.e. crummy). To have a 105 microF just connect two capacitors in parallel, as in the diagramme.
