4WD is distributed across Canada (and in select locations in the USA) on the newsstand though Transmedia distributors to most major bookstores and magazine retailers as well as niche locations and gas stations. APV Publishing controls their own mailing list for subscribers.

APV also does target mailings to addresses across Canada and participation automotive retailers who advertise with 4WD carry sample copies to drive buyers to their stores.
As an advertiser with 4WD magazine APV publishing has a retailer program for magazine distribution. The program includes sample copies of 4WD to give away to your customers based on the copies you require each issue. This program will also include a listing on our web site www.can4x4.com and an ad in 4WD to drive readers to your location for a “free” issue.
Subscriptions:APV has a dedicated subscriber list of over 3000 readers across Canada. APV also offers clubs discounts for subscriptions to their members and the AURS in Alberta offers discounted subscriptions for their members as well. 4WD is also offered in Readers Digest school fund raising promotions in Canada.
APV will be aggressive with subscription promotions in 2007. We will be adding a “first copy free” selection to our web site to draw in more subscribers. Also our “subscribe and win” promotion will also include extensive web promotions and cross promotions with our sister publication NC&R (www.northernrod.com).
For 2007 APV will bring back the “subscribe and win” promotion offering prize packages to three luck winners. Winners will be drawn from the subscription list only. This program will run from January to June 2007 with winners chosen in August.
