In the summer of
1997, we went looking for information related to consumer fog machines both on and off the
Internet. It quickly became apparent that there was very little information available. We
did find a couple of simple FAQ pages, most with incomplete or incorrect information, but
there was no authority that consumers could have faith in. Since literally ten's, if not
hundreds of thousands of fog machines are sold each year, this was a gap that needed
filling, and who better than Halloween Online to fill it. The next month we added a new section called
"Got Fog?" to our Halloween Online Magazine (http://www.halloween-magazine.com) with the mission of providing detailed
information, help, resources, and how-to ideas for using fog machines to
enhance peoples Halloween fun!
By Halloween of 2000, the information
available in the Got Fog? section had grown from a detailed Frequently Asked Question
section into a full fledged online guide, and was receiving so many visitors that we
decided to give it a home of its own at gotfog.com - While Got Fog? has its own
independent domain at www.gotfog.com, it is still part of the Halloween Online Family of Websites (http://www.halloween-online.com),
created, updated and maintained by the Halloween Online staff.
While we love to get email from our readers,
during the Halloween season we receive hundreds of emails every day, and it can take
anywhere from a couple of days to a couple weeks to receive a reply from us.
Since about 80% of the questions emailed to
us are addressed in the appropriate section of this website, please make sure that your
question has not already been answered in the FAQ pages.
If you are looking for information on
or having problems with a specific fog machine, first try the manufacturers website or
technical support number. This is usually listed in the manual that came with your fog
machine or on the box.
We do not sell,
manufacture or repair fog machines.
We hope you find
Got Fog? helpful and wish you a Happy Halloween, |
