This happened at about the same time as my Hospital Trolley story.

My friend Ann was depressed 'cos she'd just split up with her fiancée. Me and Phil had always thought he was a toss-pot and had always told Ann so. We decided that what Ann really needed was a good session down the pub.

About 13 Diamond Whites later, Ann was taking the piss out of my dress-sense which is a good sign but she then went all maudlin. It was closing time so we headed back to my place for a few drinks and to sort out a taxi. I was living in a block of flats right next to the hospital entrance, which was on a roundabout. For my American DBs, a roundabout is a way of regulating traffic flow at a junction without the need for traffic lights. Although some now have traffic lights on them(?).

Anyway, Ann was getting all miserable so I decided to cheer her up by dropping my trousers and bunny-hopping around the roundabout and back to my front door. This did the world of good and Ann started to perk up. She offered me £10 to do it again with my boxers down as well. Easy money, I thought - there's no-one around at this time of night. I dropped everything down to my ankles and set off bouncing along the road. As I turned around the roundabout for the return journey, I caught sight of the on-call registrar returning to his flat. It was too late to back out now, I just waved and said "Good evening" as I bounced past with my cock waving around.

Ann was much better for this and laughed continuously until her taxi came. She then laughed continuously in the taxi until she had an asthma attack.

When we got into work the next morning, her first words were "Worth every penny". I guess I should have asked for £20.

Cheers
