DBFests- WTF are they?


Every year, since 1997, Drunken Bastards have managed to stay s*ber long enough to haul their potted asses to a mutually convenient venue for a major piss up. Las Vegas hit the headlines twice, Amsterdam once and London another.

With an army of Drunken Bastards in attendance it's pretty inevitable that antics take place and pictures aplenty attest to the fact. Vegas gave birth to 'nipple sex' and 'mooning'; London taught the Americans that kippers and port make a fine breakfast; Amsterdam revealed that a certain German could piss in a canal for an hour non-stop (so it seemed), and that many non-attending drunks could be hoodwinked mid-CC into believing that a terrible bicycle/canal accident had befallen an attendee.

In short, a DBFest is the annual mustering of DB troops in a strategic location, for the purposes of drinking heavily, drinking a lot and bonding in the way only drunken bastards can.

DBFest 2001 sees poor ol' Glasgow, Scotland being the target over the weekend of September 14-18.
