I got this console on sale. Had the money Bought it. Had the older Gen console already, Didn't notice much of a difference I don't have a 4k TV for Netflix or Blu-Ray so I wasn't able to test a lot of the newer features. I did like how much smaller it is, It also doesn't have the chunky power adapter it's built into it. If you haven't already bought a Xbox One It doesn't get much more affordable than this.
If you don't have a Smart TV this will basically make your TV Smart. You can read most media, VIA USB or even stream it from your windows 10 PC with the Cast to Device feature by right clicking your media(same network required).
I've been very happy with both of my Xbox One's I can now play all my games purchased via Xbox Live with my wife.
It comes with a 1tb Hard Drive which is 500gbs more than my original Xbox but with the size of games being sometimes 120gbs the storage is never enough and the slim didn't actually fix this issue, if you plan to have more than 10 or so games be prepared to look for a USB3 External Hard Drive.
