Won't hold an edge and handle isn't full palm size.

I spent 2 hours right after i got it trying to sharpen it enough to be a functional knife that i could use camping this summer but it just won't hold an edge. It's nice to look at it'll make a nice paper weight. Funny thing is the spine of the knife comes sharper than the blade itself and works alright with the ferro rod.

It's an awesome little knife but in reality , the handle is shorter than the blade, I would take it camping with me, but just to peel maybe an orange or Apple or sharpen a stick or cut some string, I don't want to ruin the finish of the knife by using the fire starter since its just useful as a display knife For my collection, I would take one of my other knives, and this as a backup if other to, it's nice and sharp but people keep saying it's dull but it not, this would been awesome gift to someone who's a teen who wants their own knife.

I like the knife weight shape and style but I haven’t tried out the fire started yet. It’s a good size that doesn’t get hooked up on things it’s thin enough but a very solid knife A big disappointment is the knife holder. Poorly made especially when it comes to the stitching of the case. It was so poorly sewn together that one whole side came apart. Maybe that inspector was having an off day. Other than the case issue. I would by this item again if I lose it.

The blade came a little dull but a quick sharpening made it razor sharp, i found the wrapping on the handle too small for my hand and double wraped with paracord to fit nicely. The feronium rod comes coated with paint and when using the back edge of the knife it creates an acceptable about of sparks. Overall great knife for the price.
