How to adjust the carburetor for better starting/idling on a LF200

This is a short tutorial on adjusting the needle clip in a 200GY carburetor.

1.The carburetor

2. The parts.

3. The slide together and apart.

4. You need to remove the clip inside the slide in order to get the needle out.

5. The needle with the c clip removed. This came set in the middle slot.

Go lower for more gas and higher for less. The spark plug is a good indicator.

6. Make sure when reinstalling the slide that its slot matches up with the notch inside the carb. If not you can bend the needle. This is bad.

This adjustment was done off the bike. It is a little more difficult on the bike due to the throttle cable being hooked up to the slide. Advice: Take your time. It will pay off in the long run. Good luck and happy riding.
