"100 Beers in 100 Hours?"

Date: 14 Nov 96

'Fetus' says...

My roomates and I are going to attempt 100 beers in 100 hours. Has anyone ever tied this? Any suggestions/strategies?

Thanks,
Fetal Pig

Assuming you weigh somewhere around 170 lbs......

Every beer makes your BAC go up .03. You metabolize ethanol at the rate of .02/hour. (All things being equal, unless you are engaging in strenuous physical activity (probably the best strategy).) This means your net increase is .01 per hour. You'll be legally drunk (in California) after 8 hours. Most people pass out around .30, your mileage may vary. I think breathing centers start to shut down somewhere around .40, which is also where you go into a coma-like state. By my calculations, you'll be dead at somewhere around 50 hours.

Post every hour. We may have a job for you in the Research Division of Il Vino Schizophreno.

Good luck!
